ImgCat is an image-sharing community focused on users. Our aim is to build something better, simpler, and less-toxic. A community for users, built by users.
Our principles are based on respect
Privacy - We don't sell your data, or track you across the webAttention - Posts are ranked by community votes, not engagement models
Mental health - We don't implement toxic design patterns
Preferences - Content systems respect your choices and reduce clickbait
Your voice - Users have powerful tools to shape and build their community
We are a nonprofit, building the open-source tools of a responsible social web
The website is still under construction. But please take a look at what we're building. And if you'd like to donate or learn more, we could use your help!
